So, since backward Norwegians built their structures in wood, they pretty much burned to the ground at some point. That left us with one fabulous building: the Nidaros Cathedral, constructed over the years 1070 to 1300. It’s placed over King Olav II Haraldsson’s (Saint Olaf) grave in Trondheim in central Norway. <image:title>About/Contact - My name is Bjorn Hamso. I’m a Norwegian economist living in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, together with wife Ingrid. After retiring from the World Bank, Washington DC, in 2019, I started spending more time on photography. Making good landscape photos was my intent and still is. However, when photographing in the time of corona, it became clear that I had abundant, colorful, non-moving, and challenging photo motifs all around me - flowers. Going forward I’ll try to make images in several areas of photography.</image:title>
